- Europe (UEFA), Thirteen Spots
- North and Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF), Three Spots
- Oceania (OFC), Possibly one Spot
- Asia (AFC), Four or Five Spots
- South America (CONMEBOL), Four or Five Spots
Here are our predictions for the various continents:
- Africa: Ethiopia, South Africa, Morocco, Senegal, Egypt and perhaps Libya
- Europe: Belgium, Italy, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Russia, Slovakia, England, Spain, France, Denmark, Portugal and Turkey
- Oceania: New Zealand
- North and Central America: Jamaica, Mexico, Canada, and the USA
- Asia: South Korea, Iran, Japan, Australia, and Iraq
- South America: Chile, Uruguay and Argentina, Colombia, and Ecuador
